Our mission is to provide students throughout western New York with opportunities to participate in speech and debate (forensics). We accomplish this by hosting tournaments and classes, engaging in community outreach and partnering with other organizations throughout Buffalo, and preparing resources and materials to assist in starting and running speech and debate teams.

About Us
The Buffalo Catholic Forensics League (BCFL) is the local chapter of the National Catholic Forensics League (NCFL). The BCFL exists to serve students, parents, and educators at Catholic, private, and public schools within the Buffalo Diocese by offering opportunities engage in speech and debate.
To further this goal, the BCFL holds a series of tournaments throughout the speech and debate season (Late October - Early March). The BCFL also offers debate classes, and resources to help new programs and students get started in speech and debate. In addition to tournaments and classes, each year our league sends students to represent the Buffalo Diocese at the Grand National Tournament.
