1. Start your speech and debate team (see our starting a team page for assistance)

2. Attend a local tournament (see our tournament calendar for more details)

3. Fill out the school data form linked here https://www.ncfl.org/uploads/7/3/2/8/7328308/2425_ncfl_school_data_card.pdf 

4. Pay your schools membership dues of $60 by December 20th. Checks should be made out to NCFL, and can be brought to a tournament or mailed to MMA Speech & Debate C/O Matt Slencsak, 88 Red Jacket Pkwy, Buffalo, NY 14220
